Robert Swindells Doctor of Chiropractic, B.Sc.(Hons)

My name is Robert Swindells and I am a local chiropractor to the Harborne and Edgbaston area. First of all I graduated with a first class honours degree in Chiropractic from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan. I have additionally been able to gathered experience working with several chiropractors in two clinics in North Lincolnshire. During the year of 2004, I moved to Birmingham to become the principle chiropractor at Chiro Relief. This was initially in Harborne, but now in Edgbaston.

You could say that I didn’t find Chiropractic, but Chiropractic found me. Following a lengthy period of illness during my mid teens I was forced to leave school early.  As a result I can now appreciate the importance of good health. On the way to recovery I encountered numerous therapists including a Chiropractor. These experiences lead to my interest and enthusiasm for Chiropractic as a career. Therefore I choose to resume my education and then go to university.

I believe in continually developing my skills and regularly attend Professional Development seminars. These help me keep updated with the latest research and techniques. Although these are mainly Chiropractic, I also try and broaden my outlook by attending seminars of allied health professions.

Choosing Chiropractic as a way of life has been a profound and life enhancing journey for me. It is a privilege to be not only getting people well and free of back pain in Birmingham. But above all it also helping them maintain their health, through education and support.
